01. the sunniest skies and warm winds; no jacket necessario.
02. a lesson in baking from sister---the baking queen.
03. putting the sold sign on my condo. yahoo!
03. finishing the daunting task of putting my entire life in boxes.
04. a nice place to stay in the meantime.
05. crisp sheets.
05. baking a decent birthday cake.
06. finishing my fitness regimen and enjoying cake ever since.
07. making up for it at the gym without any lack of energy. huh.
08. spring blooms are so welcoming.
09. another birthday for me, with high hopes for a fresh new year.
10. did i mention the cake? It was devil's food.

p.s. Remember me? I used to blog like every day but then I got really busy with boring stuff, which made me really tired and uninspired and sick of everything. Maybe I am back to normal now. :)

happy birthday, may you have a year filled with wonderful things!

it´s good you´ve been having cake, someone once told me that you should eat loads of sugar on your birthday so you'll have a very sweet year ;)

  3. Glad to see your list, and you were in my dream last night. Tap dancing in a subway tunnel, asking me how exactly we used to do that "time step." Weird.

  4. That is way funny. And weird. I think I still have the time steps down pat: ball change, hop, shuffle, step, flap, ball change. :)

  9. Happy B-day, Ali. The cake is of the devil, but sometimes we all gotta indulge every once in awhile. Hope everything goes well when you move to D.C.

Yes, CJ is gone (but will be having an open house when he visits in a couple weekends...he got whisked away oh so fast!) AND my life SHOULD be in boxes, but it's not. I don't know where to start!!!!

  13. I'm so glad you are back. I've missed you! I switched jobs, I'm now the Marketing Director at ProvoCraft...so I'm very busy and have been a boring and uninspired blogger. I'm a disgrace.

  21. congratulations on selling your condo Ali...that is so exciting!
and I'm glad you mentioned the cake so many times....it sounded so good.
I thought about you many times on your birthday and even indulged in some cake myself. By the time I picked up the phone to call, I realized it was like 1 am there, but I should have known you'd probably be up anyway...
hope you had a great day.
