great basin greetings
Did we think we'd need a blog? No. Did we ever think we'd want a blog? No. (Did I ever think I'd be the kind of person who speaks for both herself and her husband in the "we" form? No.) But with two sisters in the Big Apple, a sister and brother-in-law in the Lonestar State (soon to be headed for Boston with new tyke Maxwell), a mother whose location changes with the blink of an eye and a slew of friends, relations, ex-coworkers and former roommates scattered throughout the nation--maybe even the globe-- I thought it would be a good way for me and mine (we and ours?) to stay in touch ... or, more correctly and selfishly, at least you can see what's going on with me/us.
It's odd that I'm the sole Anderson offspring to stay planted in Curtis' beloved Great Basin, and often I feel as though we are on our own here in Salt Lake City. No Jamie to go shopping with, no Ashley to help me design my home, no Lane to critique my hopefully-eloquent ramblings. Never have I appreciated in-laws more.
So, welcome to Ali Loves Curtis (so titled because it's true, and I couldn't think of anything else). We hope you'll check in semi-often to see if we've posted anything of interest. Curtis is a much more humorous and entertaining person than myself, so I'll see if I can get him to share his genius with the masses(?) from time to time.
Thanks for visiting.

Oh, this is most certainly lovely! What a great idea. Can't wait to hear (see?) the creative genius you and Curtis come up with here. By the way, I miss you...
You never told me you're related to a "Walker" in Texas. Could it be?
Looking forward to the next edition of Ali+Curtis. Keep the brilliance coming!
Hmm I love the idea behind this website, very unique.
