first perrocino

Lacey just blogged about her husband's delicious (no doubt), no-recipe-required lasagna. Curtis hasn't quite achieved that make-it-up-he-goes chef status, but he does make a mean Peroccino.

We just got home from his parents' house, a little chilled after stepping through the snow on their lawn (none at our condo complex yet) and seeing the holiday lights that decorate their eaves and shrubbery.

With the help of our favorite winter kitchen appliance, The Cocomotion (sorry, but does an appliance name get any more awesome than that?), Curtis brewed our most choice hot beverage. All it takes is milk or water, Pero, and Stephens French Vanilla Gourmet Hot Chocolate. I take mine with a sprinkling of nutmeg.

If you haven't already, you should try it. No Cocomotion necessary; I'm sure a pot and stovetop will do the job--though achieving that sought-after hot-but-not-too-hot temperature will undoubtedly be more difficult. I don't think Cocomotions are even on the market anymore; they've probably been replaced by something like the CapuccinoShimmyShaker.

I didnt know that you guys drank Pero. I love that stuff. I think I will have to try that drink out. There is nothing better than a hot drink on a cold day.

I fell in love with the cocomotion a couple of years before I got married--when I was living at my parents house. My mom and I would make hot chocolate together almost every morning. It is a definate necessity in any kitchen!

Yummm... thanks for the tip. Also- we owe you a big thanks for introducing us to the Cocomotion... Remember- it was in your old apartment? That must've been, what 2 years ago?

Sound like the Cocomotion makes for good times, good times.

Bad News: The Cocomotion has been replaced by an inferior product with an even more inferior name, the CocoaLatte. Duh!

CocoaLatte is OK, but it certainly doesn't make you feel like dancing.
