diy alphabet soup
I spied these cardboard-ish but more refined block letters at Roberts Arts & Crafts for $2.19 each. I'm going to either a) order some Purl Soho or Sew Mama Sew fabrics, or b) pick up some cheap quilt squares at my favorite local quilting store and cover them to make my own more sophisticated fabric alphabet letters.
I'm thinking I might just do "A & C." (And yes, I realize the photo is of "A & S"; I couldn't get them all in so I chose my favorite shapes.)
Wish me luck. Mine won't have any batting which makes me question the end product. But if I like how they look, I'll post the results.

Great idea Ali! I'd love to see how they turn out.
They have these online at Anthro, and I've contemplated buying them. But let me know how yours turn out. I'm curious. Plus, Anthrop doesn't have the & symbol, and I really like that.
Ali, that would be a fun girls night activity.
sweet idea ali. could make a nice wedding gift too. don't you think? have a fun time crafting.
Fun idea Ali.. I would love to see the end product, I'm sure they will look great!
Really good idea Ali and I like the shape of those letters. Definitely show your results, I'm excited to see how they turn out.
Ali,
I'd love to see the finished results. I always have such grand expectations and rarely finish anything I'm proud of. I am truly envious of people who do crafts and have happy endings.
