The televised version of "This American Life" is finally available on iTunes! Hurrah!

Thank you, Ira. Here's a bit about his favorites:

"My personal favorites, of the six episodes: Nancy Updike's story in Episode Three about nonbelievers and believers colliding in Utah, the fourteen-year-old who decided he doesn't believe in love in Episode Two, and Chris Ware's cartoon and GJ Echternkamp's home movie in Episode Four. If you download all six shows, you'll see us try all sorts of ways to film a story for TV and you'll probably notice us loosen up as we figure out what we're doing in this new medium."

Hmmm, I've been downloading these from iTunes for a while now. But they never seem to be in order. Sometimes its episode 302, 116 etc. Last one was about deception. Or is this a new series you are referring to?

Sarah, it's the TV versions that are now available. TAL has been a radio show for a long time, but they recently made a for-TV adaptation on cable (so it doesn't come with your regular TV channels). Thus, I couldn't watch them, until now.

that's what my question was going to be--is it the TV version that's available--but you already answered it.

FYI Sarah, if you go to ThisLife.org you can stream the radio shows in order, or whatever order you like.

I got this too! I still need to catch up on dozens of TAL podcasts that I haven't had time to watch... :(
