i left my heart in idaho

Namely, Drummond, Lamont, Tetonia, Felt, Victor and Swan Valley.

Voted Best Drive of 2007 by Ali Loves Curtis.

Didn't get a chance to stop for any real photo ops as we had a deadline of 5 p.m. for "World Famous" Huckleberry shakes at the Victor Emporium, which of course, was of the highest priority. We were pushing 4:50 p.m. when we arrived. (Grant, thank you. This shake indeed changed my life.) But I'll be going back, and often. The dream of the farmland summer home is alive and well. And it currently resides on a lot (or 30 acres) with a view of the Tetons.

If you ever have the chance, drive on this road. In the summer. In a fast-ish car, if at all possible, with your camera slung around your neck or hugging your wrist. It's unreal.

Your talk of huckleberry shakes has my mouth a watering! We love to indulge in all things huckleberry, especially those shakes (with a scoop of chocolate ice cream on top. . . the locals call it "bear poop") when we vacation in Montana. Sounds like a great road trip. Beautiful picture, Ali.
