beehive bizarre
Is it just me or are there a heckuva lot of bloggers in Utah? Or from Utah? People's whose blogs I would be tuning into (or bookmarking) no matter what their zip code, but whose zip codes coincidentally neighbor my own.
There must be something in the water.
I've started a list of my favorite Utah bloggers about five times but stop because I'm afraid I'll forget someone and will then feel sheepish and appear silly and/or unkind. But I feel the need to give my home state some props: from crafty divas, to fashionistas, to photographers, to prolific writers to extraordinary storytellers, I'm having a very proud-to-be-Utahn moment. I'm surrounded by geniuses.
At any rate, I thought I should point that out. I would really like to meet all of you bloggers whose words, thoughts, finds and creations I enjoy/admire so much. Perhaps we should start some sort of Wasatch Bloggers' Summit. But with a sexier name.
Any thoughts on the matter? Go 'Hives!

Really? I would be interested to know as I haven't stumbled on that many bloggers from Utah.
Local blogger Jon Deal started a website called: www.SLCBloggers Live.com. So far, it hasn't had a lot of publicity, so not very many people have signed up. But that might be a good place to start.
I agree! I can not believe how small the blogging world is. I am, however, not one of the fun ones who have great finds/crafts, but I do partake, and would love to meet some of them!
i am all for a top secret blog club.
Me too. But only if it has a sexier name.
i'm in!
and yes there are a lot of bloggers in utah or ones with utah roots.
I want to be in the club, but only if we change the name. :)
What is the secret password?
I too am curious about all these Utah bloggers. I am proud to be a Utahn :)
Ooh, I love that idea! I've noticed the same thing about Utah bloggers- go Utah! Let me know if you start something up, that sounds fun!
must be the genealogy component to utahns?? I agree though, there are a lot.
I'd be in any club you started, Ali! I am a huge fan and I haven't even met chya.
I have noticed that too, and wondered when I would end up bumping into one of you around town somewhere.
I have discovered interesting small-world connections through blogging, like I had an English class with Jordan (Oh Happy Day) once at USU. I guess you were an English major at USU too, right?
ditto to all! UTah rocks my world!
Sheesh! Could've sworn I left a comment for this because I think it's a fabulous idea- and you're full of 'em...! We'll be the Utah Blogging Chapter- you as Pres.?
I have a theory.
A lot of emphasis placed on journal writing in their formative years yields very reliable bloggers.
I, myself, attended BYU, so there's my Utah connection.
i love utah. my heart belongs to dixie, but it is on loan to utah county for now.
How did I miss this post? It's a great idea, Ali!
