in the mail
Perhaps you heard from Alyson that she and I sent each other a little surprise in the mail at exactly the same time. This was not planned; it's just that our minds think quite a bit alike. Lucky for me. She made this really great mini journal with original Sunali designs on front and back with graph paper inbetween, and hand-stitched binding. And she also sent this wonderful necklace with three charms on it: 1) a camera that represents what I like to do, 2) a bike that reminds me of my born-to-ride husband, and 3) a compass that will help me get around when I move at the end of the summer.
Thank you so much, Alyson. I love it all. Nevermind that we've never actually met. Hopefully someday. That's the fun of blogging.
p.s. Sorry about my pink-ish theme, Alyson. I know you're not the biggest fan, but I was feeling Valentines-y when I sent yours.
