pink ideas

If I was a stick figure and I had an idea, I like to think that the lightbulb that would appear above my head would be colored pink. I learned about pink lightbulbs in February's issue of Domino, where they were highlighted in a the "Scouting" section about Bobo in NYC. They say, "Pink bulbs cast a flattering glow, ideal for the powder room or to inject warmth in dining and living rooms." I want to try one out. If only I had a powder room....

I found this one on Amazon. I also think it would make a cute gesture to wrap a set up for your office-mate who just bought her first place, no? Now there's a pink idea.

That's a lovely idea. I use pink bulbs all over the house and now I can't go back to regular bulbs. Everything looks nicer in pink.

Love your gorgeous blog.

My pink and purple-obsessed sister-in-law has a bathroom painted in the nicest shade of pink. I feel so pretty when I'm in that room. Everyone looks better in a pink room.

Oh Ali! Lemme tell ya'...always have pink bulbs on hand! I switch regular bulbs out for pink ones whenever I am entertaining. Most people never get it right away but know that something is different. Pink light just makes you look great and is always flattering. Love them! (Now though, will we be able to get them after 2012 when compact fluorescent are all we can get!)

i'm a big fan of colored lightbulbs - i have quite the collection. a friend purchased an orange one (fave color) for me over the holidays and it casts a warm glow as well.

love your blog, ali!
