valentine boxes

Lately I've been wishing I had a reason to make a Valentine's box. I wish we could all make Valentine's boxes and leave each other a lovely little note or two. I thought about a virtual version, but it just wouldn't be the same.

So I took it to Flickr and the World Wide Web to see what I could find. I was pretty delighted with these schoolroom versions. Kids are awesome.

Other delivery boxes worth mentioning:

a valentine robot
a spongebob box
red, pink, hearts, lace and pearls (mine usually looked something like this)
pink with doilies and candy and excitement

.

Oh man, I totally forgot about Valentine boxes. I would love to make these again—so sweet. This is a perfect excuse to have a V Day Party! Thanks Ali!

My Valentine's boxes never were as cool as these ones. I sure did love Valentine's day and I loved the nice little notes from friends. I think the elementary parties were best with cookies and punch!

i remember twisting the paper on the end of pencil, dipping it in the glue, and then applying to a giant heart shaped pocket. hmmm.

I used to LOVE making valentine's day boxes. One year I made mine into an Elephant...it was the coolest thing ever...I wish I had a picture of it.
