vintage at sundance
It's fun to browse the vintage shop at Sundance, even though I would probably look elsewhere if I was seriously considering a purchase. They have an image of a camera I own (belonged to my dad's dad; see photo here) but it's not in stock. I wish it was so I could learn a little bit more about it ... and see how much it's selling for. But what I really want is one of those typewriters.
p.s. If I had one of those typrewriters, I would whip up a thank you note to post for readers, telling them how much their well-wishes mean to me. Luckily, I still have four or five months to get all the moving business squared away. But since I don't have one of those typewriters, I will tell you right here: thank you!

I find myself perusing the Sundance shop from time to time too. Really love the Edison bulbs but that typewriter is pretty darn cute too.
Congrats on your move to D.C.! And "good luck".
oh, i love sundance too, (but their prices, not so much) i really like that camera.
That move sounds like a gargantuan task--I will say this from having to move three times in two years--TOTES.
i got so excited about these too! i think i should raid my grandma's closet first, though.
i do love how they are new, though.
you have something that belonged to dad's dad? I don't think I've ever seen a picture of HIM. Cool!
oh, I'd love to have an old phone, or a ring tone on my cell with an old-phone-ring.
