anthro flats

When my friend Katie told me Anthropologie's shoes were becoming more affordable, I didn't quite believe her. I've trained myself to skip over them to spare myself the pain and anguish. And yet, here I am, browsing through their flats and thinking, "Wow, these prices ain't half bad."

Here are some I'm spying, $128 and under. Now if I could just get Anthro (and Urban) to carry a size five! Or even a five-and-a-half would do.

clockwise from top left:

signal flag skimmers
.
steel magnolia ballerinas.
princess cut t-straps.
moondance t-straps.

Those are cute...but $128? Yipes, I still doubt I could pay half that amount for shoes.

I'm just praying for the day Old Navy makes their flats in size 5, or even better, 4.

Robin, you make a good point. Make that two good points. (I once got a pair of Old Navy flats in a size five, but haven't seen them again since. Are you really a size 4? You must be minnn-eeee.)

I guess I'm just happy that Anthro isn't choosing to only carry shoes that are in the $400 range.

I love the silver ones.. but I end up wearing kinda heavy looking danskos for the arch support.. which as I type this makes me feel 80 years old.. too much ballet.

i have the moondance t-straps and they are super cute. f troupe's shoes fit really small, so if you got a 36 they would probs fit you.

i work at urban and it really hurts not to be able to wear the shoes from there or anthropologie. even having a fabulous discounts won't make my 5 1/2 feet fit into a pair of 6's.

Ali- It's Dirk!! Size five huh? I will let you know if we ever get a freak pair in at Urban. By the way, ran into Sarah the other day and I had no idea you were behind "your heart out." And they just featured one of my friend's bags from Stolen Pony. Way to go. Anyway, your rad.

Just reading these comments made me so so so happy. I love the small feet dialogue.

$118 for skimmers? I think I will stick to Target shoes for the time being. These are awfully cute, though.

Oh I love these! Actually, I can't really think of anything that Anthropologie produces that I don't drool over. But I have the opposite problem as you...size 11 feet! And looks like Anthro only goes up to size 10 :( Maybe we could petition them to help out the girls that don't have average size feet.
