excuse me

If you know me at all, you know that I work in writing and editing, primarily. That said, I like to be lazy on my blog and break all the rules since it's not "in print" and I have no one to answer to but myself.

Even so, it's driving me crazy that I left an entire word out of a sentence in the survey to your right and that I can't edit it without erasing the whole thingy.

I just needed to get that off my chest.

Ha ha. I make typing mistakes all the time and then go back and wonder what I was thinking to make that big of a mistake in the moment.

I forgive you!

Hey, when are you moving? What is going to happen with YHO? I am having stress thinking about it. I think you need to inform us all so we don't stress anymore.

I've caught myself making mistakes too and just felt that cringing heat rise up in my chest. It's a horrible feeling.

But, if it's any consolation, I'm never as hard on other people as I am on myself.

it's like those tests to see if you're paying attention or not, where they leave out a word and you can't figure out what it is... I read those sentences really really slow before I figured it out. :)

Thanks, guys. It's the word "what" that's missing in the bottom option, there. My brain tricked me!

Hooray for Ali! It's like you, yourself, went to Oprah and Dr. Oz's OCD boot camp and you are now able to misspell something and be, um, okay with it?

Ha! I never even noticed it!

I am the same way, although you wouldn't know it with my devil-may-care use of commas, hyphen and parentheses.

Question. If you have a way for people to subscribe to your blog are they notified every time you repost? I haven't offered that because I am afraid that every time I am reposting due to a mistake I am correcting that everyone will be notified of a new post.
