come to my sale (updated!)

In honor of my cross-country trek, I'm shedding some pounds ... of clothing, and home goods, and collectibles that are hard for me to give up. I've got a lot of it, and as per usual, I want these cute, barely-used, fairly-priced items to go to someone like you.

When: This Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Where: Salt Lake City
What:

  • lots of jackets, sweaters, blouses, tops, tees, tanks, trousers, skirts and coats from the likes of Odille, Moth, F21, Banana Republic, Diesel, French Connection, J.Crew, Kenneth Cole, H&M, HWR, Topshop, etc.
  • home accessories like sofa pillows, picture frames, candlesticks, votives, curtains, mugs, and dishes from places like Anthropologie, Crate & Barrel and my favorite vintage stops.
  • miscellaneous items like vintage cameras, jumbo-size balloons, lots of designer yarn, stationery, craft books, etc.
Of course, we can set up another time for you to see this stuff too, but I feel silly even saying that. And feel free to spread the word. Actually, please do. :)

good grief...you live thousands of miles away, but I think I would find tons of your old treasures to make into my new ones. Bummer. Hope you sell it all! ;)

whats that little glass cluster thing in the upper right? i want it.

Joslyn- it's a votive. A cute little candle sits inside. I actually have two of them...

And the vintage cameras aren't worth traveling 1,000 miles for. How's that for a good salesman? :)

Hi. This is brilliant.

Maybe an awkward question, but what sizes of clothes are you selling? I want to be there. Badly. I hope I can make it work! (Do you happen to have a spare arm chair for a living room? I'm on the hunt!)

if only you had had your sale while i was in town! I'd be sure to spend my life away!

You have such pretty things! If only I had the space for some of it!

Anonymous said...

maybe you can sell some of your things via etsy??...

I would say that the majority of clothing for sale will be sizes small to medium. And I have some shoes sizes 5-6, but my friend might have some too in the 7-8 range.

Most of my furniture already sold (including armchairs) but I will have a few things.

And lastly but not leastly, I would love to sell my stuff via eBay or Etsy, but I don't have to the room or time at the moment. :)

I will try to talk my husband into taking the trip to SLC!! Actually, we went to an AMAZING estate sale by the capitol a few weekends ago. He said yesterday that he wanted to go to another one...so...my wheels are turning. And yeah--my husband is pretty awesome. Don't be jealous:)

Oh, rats! I came here via stephmodo, but was behind in my feeds and didn't find out until just now at 5:00. If you still have a few things to sell I'd love to see what you have. I live fairly near by. hairyshoefairy [at] gmail [dot] com.

I went and it was just as fun as I thought it would be. And yes, I did purchase things. And yes, she is a dollface with her cute short hair. And yes, she has great taste.
