feist + feist's shadow artists
As previously mentioned, I really really enjoyed Feist's concert at Deer Valley last Thursday. (I only wish I would have remembered to bring a better blanket and some picnic-style cheese and crackers.) I didn't get to see the display in its entirety, but one of the best parts of the show was a shadow-art duo who created a one-of-a-kind backdrop for the whole set, projected on a screen.
The artists, Clea Minaker and Diane Montgomery, created images using everything from twigs to finger paint ... and I swear I saw some glow sticks, too. I would love to know where Feist found these two, or if they found her.
You can see a whole bunch of images here, or get an idea courtesy of this video.

glad you enjoyed it :)
I saw Feist a few months ago in NYC and the projections are just amazing! Loved every second and every little bird in it!
I saw here back in January and LOVED the projection art. I was just as mesmerized by that as by her lovely lyrics and adorable wardrobe choice.
Feist is beyond fantastic. I've yet to see her live, but now I'm motivated to do so!
Wish I could have gone! How neat to have shadow art!
I am such a huge Feist fan, seen her a couple times. She always presents a great show.
Let me know about the Your Heart Out when you get the chance, I would love to be involved

looks awesome!
I am shocked at how many Utah bloggers there are out there, I being one of them, not that I claim to draw a large crowd or anything. Anywho--love your blog!
I love Feist, and what a wonderful idea for backdrops.
I got to see that concert in Indiana and it was absolutely inspiring. Love the blog and will be adding you to my list of inspiring blogs.
