back to school blues

When I send C off for school every day, I can't help but be a little jealous. Except when homework/study time comes. This time of year makes me want to drive to Logan, stock up on college-ruled notebooks and gel pens, bunk up with roomies, hang out in the library, and do all those ritualistic back-to-the-books types of things---like stay up til 2 a.m. playing Dr. Mario (and school all of y'all!). Fall has a way of making grad school sound extra good, doesn't it?

Totally. I work on a college campus and the urge is strong today!

Hmmm I drove through Logan yesterday to drop my little sister off at her apartment. The nostalgia hit big time.

I get all those same feelings remarkably enough. Though when people are in the middle of mid-terms and finals I often find myself taking a huge sigh of relief!

OH man a Dr Mario reference that can't help but comment on! I suck so bad a DM but oh man do I love it. In college I would come home from class and my roomies would have drinks waiting for me by the pool then we would come in after cocktail hour (4 hour) and eat easy Mac and play good ol Dr. Mario! Wow I love that game! Great memories and thanks for the adorable back-to-school post...LOVE IT!
