pretty little things

Perhaps in another life I might have been a stylist of some sort. Maybe, but yeah right. I think it would be fun at any rate. In that other life I might have worked for a glossy, and if so, I would have worked these two pieces into the next bridal spread (both spotted on the front page of Etsy today).

See them here and here.

Though not immediately practical, that voluminous bolero would make for a great photo, given lots of light. And I might just want the bracelet anyway. To make me feel better on not-so-glamorous days.

Definitely get the bracelet. Think how great it will look with a party frock during the holidays!

And then you'll have it if you ever happen to get the stylist job at a glossy and are charged with doing a wedding spread.

(Yes, I can justify any purchase in many ways)

I've always thought you should work for Blueprint. Since they are no more, I think it's time you started your own!

Oooh, indeed. Wish I'd had access to the rhinestone-adorned ribbon bracelet when I was getting hitched ...

I would hire you as a stylist! Love that bolero--such a cool imagining of what such a jacket could be.
