world's smallest postal service

Ever wanted to mail a really, really small letter to an unrequited love? Your mother? Your congressman? Now's your chance. I read about Lea's fun tiny letter project in ReadyMade while stuck in a beyond-crappy service station for way too long yesterday. (How ReadyMade ended up in that dump is beyond me, but was most welcome ... the one redeeming quality, actually.)

Lea sets up her miniscule office in cafes and boutiques like the Curiosity Shoppe and Sweet Madeline Bake Shop, and you can stop by to have her translate your letter onto teeny-tiny stationery by hand. She'll then mail it on to your desired recipient, who will undoubtedly be delighted with the novelty of the whole thing---it will even be sealed with birthday candle wax.

Don't worry, you can also do it online. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I like mini things. Especially mini things that are hugely clever. If you want to send me a tiny envelope, I'll send you my address.... :)

See more of Lea's projects and products at Leaf Cutter Designs.

this is small enough that you could send one to your little babe inside telling him how excited you are to meet him. i could just see his little wet fingers opening it inside there. :)
