meet mrs. smith

It's official. After 4.5 years of marriage, I decided to add Smith to my last name. Maybe it's because we're bringing a youngster into the world together. Maybe it's because I'm sick of the confusion. Maybe it's also because I finally got my act together and took care of the name-changing business like I should have 4.5 years ago.

This is a milestone day for me. And the now-Smiths.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith huh? pretty provocative. Sounds like a movie or something.

Congrats Mrs. Smith! I have yet to change my maiden name, but I plan to do it soon (and yes, there is confusion when the last name isn't the same...socially I already go by my husband's last name, but legally- not yet.)

Congrats. I'm so like you. We are going on almost 3 years of marriage and I still haven't taken his name. Too much paper work :)

Some day I'll be good like you and get it all done.
