not-so-frugal but still fun

I never thought I'd receive an e-mail from Anthropologie with the word "frugal" in the subject line. Today, I was proved wrong. Thing is, this headband, featured in their small-on-price spread, is still $38. I don't think I've ever paid $38 for a headband.

I'm just sayin'. But it's still pretty freakin' cute. So what if I'm a sucker?

You are a crafy lady. I am SURE that you could make something similar for a fraction of the cost.

Ha! I got that same email, and had that same thought. But you're right, I still want it too!

it kind of makes me sick that I used to think $38 was a good price for ANYTHING at anthro... even some dumb candle or something. guess I'm a sucker too.

I thought the same thing yesterday when I got this email! I clicked on their items and they had a "frugal" t-shirt for like $78! Kind of a joke, I think!

Nonetheless, the headband is freakin cute!

Haha. I love that anthro is that out of touch. I can just see their marketing dept--we need to have some under $50 buys for this economy...

So they come up with a $40 HEADBAND? Hilarious.

I work(ed)(before baby) part time at Anthro, and I will say that on the right person (cute like you), it is the best accessory. If I could pull it off I would have purchased it in a heart beat...we also sold one in winter that was a stiffer velvet like fabric.
