I like these photos by Brooks Institute student Greg Byers, available at UGallery.com. They feel like July 1 to me.

Top: "34th Street"
Bottom: "6th Street Tower"

i instantly recognized this photo as we live in newport and spend every pretty day right there plop on the sand. the house on the right has since been torn down and replaced by an humongous eye sore and the left house is about to be bulldozed.....tear.

Oh I used to live on 37th Street in Newport Beach, just 3 blocks down from there! Great pictures!

Love these photos!
Had a tip I thought you’d be interested in. There’s this cool new photographer Matt Schwartz of She Hit Pause Studios who does Polaroid transfer photography. The process makes the images look sort of dream-like, they’re unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Quite arresting and very beautiful.
