new york minute

doggies

Where would you find yourself desperately and blindly fumbling through your diaper bag in an effort to locate your camera, all the while running against the wind from the Met to a cab with a baby strapped to your back, because you've got to document a handful of poodles that appear, in this rare-to-you moment, like ritzy canine ghosts patiently waiting to haunt Fifth Avenue?

New York City, that's where.

That's too funny! Gotta love the city...every day I see something new. As they say, only in New York...only in New York.

I remember this! I'm glad you got a pic. I remember we were so cold and miserable trying to flag a cab...and you noticed the poodle posse and cheered everyone up. As always, you have a great eye.

I kept thinking about this shot this weekend and wanted to share a similar experience we had early in our blog. A man with seemingly hundreds of balloons got into a taxi on the upper west side but couldn't get all his balloons in the car. I was desperately trying to grabbing my iphone as the cab sped away and managed to get a quick shot off before he was too far away. I think you'll enjoy the photo!
