the art of cooking, 'homemade is best'

abcd

These awesome photographs of recipe ingredients were styled by Evelina Bratelle and photographed by Carl Kleiner for a Swedish IKEA cookbook called "Hembakat ar Bast" or "Homemade is Best." You can watch a video of its making here.

I am quite certain this would be my dream job, though I've never really given this kind of activity a shot. Lately I fall in love with every creative job I see.

Sorry if this is old news. I inadvertently took a two-year blogging break, but I need to post it here for my own inspirational purposes.

These are a lot of fun. They kind of make me hungry though. What is wrong with old news? Its great to revisit things. I also don't feel the need keep on top of the latest and greatest. Maybe that is why i'm such a terrible blogger. I have stepped off the treadmill and am doing a leisurely walk (with three itty bitties in tow).

I love these. I'm so glad to see them again. Even if it weren't food, the patterns are genius. The use of food just makes them extra special.

Liar, liar! You do take photos like this. I have seen them on your flickr account. They are photos of makeup and stuff, and not food, but it's not too far off. Maybe sometime you can post some of those :)

I like your photos the best of all the photos on your blog!
