christopher robin's room
We took little O to see the new "Winnie the Pooh" last weekend---his second "special movie show" experience in his nearly 2.5 years. I'm still a little stuck on the original. But the opening and closing shots of Christopher Robin's bedroom, full of animals and curiosities and ripe for imaginative play, made me happy. Here are some "film stills" of Christopher Robin's room in the vintage version. I like them, too.

LOVE this, ali! I haven't watched the original in far too long, but these images made me reminisce about one of my all-time favorite movies that I watched ALL THE TIME when I was younger.
What a great idea! I love that little boy's room, esp. because it's not too overstyled/propped like it would be in a movie now. Funny that CR was also a boy who had a friend named Owl :)
Thanks for sharing this clip! My sister and I grew up watching the original and I had completely forgotten about it until I read your blog post. Such a sweet reminder of the past.
