beautiful people, beautiful dresses

Some favorite looks of the night, so far. Others that I haven't located pictures of include Naomi Watts (loved the gown-and-earring combo), Emily Blunt (could she be any cuter?), and always classic and classy Rachel Weisz (whom I met once in London and will never forget). I only saw favorite Maggie Gyllenhaal from the shoulders up, but I'd be surprised if I didn't die over her getup.

But, get serious, we all know that Meryl Streep was the most beautiful part of the night. She is a good-hearted, intelligent, well-spoken, well-behaved and knows-better mother to all, and a great example for young, ungrounded (and often annoying) Hollywood starletts. I love her frank manner, her ability to deliver sensible/realistic/inspiring words on a whim. She gives me the chills ... and I've never met her.

Reese's new bangs are a bang in my book. Love the new look. The best part of her emsemble this evening was her shoes. Fab-u-loso.

Great picks Ali.. Reese = beautiful (as usual), I couldn't get enough of looking at Sienna Miller and that braid around her head (that would have been my pick for the night) and as much as I hate to say it.. I loved Angelina Jolie's dress.

How could I missed such a night of television. I'll have to do some research and look up everyone's favorites. But I agree Reese looks beautful. I love that yellow dress on her.

I can't believe that Meryl Streep would even step foot in the same room as that dirty Kevin Bacon. I mean after that tirade he put her through on the beautiful Snake River a few years ago. What an example of forgiveness and strength. Long live Meryl.

I missed most of the broadcast, but I LOVED Felicity Huffman's dress! I'd like a dress like that to waltz around the house in. Actually, I'd probably enjoy wearing it at Target too.

Sadly, I was on a long train ride along the NE corridor during the GG's. However, I have managed to peruse multiple gossip/trashy celebrity websites and must agree with Lori. I loved Sienna Miller's dress, though I'm not sure about the braid...at least on her. Reese too, she's always a winner in my book. Classy, elegant, understated, beautiful.
