F21?

A tip from my friend Amy and the three-fold brochure/flier thingy on my table at The Gateway's food court this afternoon made me think that perhaps 400 West could be graced with a Forever 21 store sooner or later. Methinks this is good news, since Fashion Place's Gadzooks was supposed to turn into an F21 like a year ago, but has never made the transition and continues to pack its teeny tiny store with too much merch. I'm looking forward to a little wiggle room for shopping and better merchandising, if a new store comes to be.

Though it doesn't say which positions are open (might be sales-only) they're looking to hire. Hey, who wouldn't want to be Forever 21? It was a great age.

I can't believe it's taken so long for utah to get a f21. It's trendy and chip chip chip. What more could utahans want? It looks like they're taking their cue from Ikea's big announcement.

We have a friend who manages the facilities at Gateway, and he claims they are looking at a March opening! He also said it's a two-story store, so there should be plenty of room to run around scream, "Holy crap, this is so cute and cheap!"

I've known about this for a while now. Congrats! Long live cheap and trashy shopping!

Jamie: Why didn't you tell me!?

Liz: Yes I know and adore Andy and Fergie. (And their new youngster.) And yes, I was at their wedding and I think I even spotted you out but was too shy to introduce myself. I'm dumb that way sometimes.

And yes I remember Jared too! Um, maybe we should all hang out next time you're in Utah? We don't have plans to head to Hoboken any time soon, though we wouldn't dare say "no" to it. :)

Ali, why are you so funny? I "heart" Forever 21.. can't wait for it to open at Gateway...maybe it will give Anthropologie a run for their money. Although I'd seen f21 in ny some time ago... I give all my Gadzooks credit to you!
