wannabe gilmore girl

I admit to being a total nerd, but I kind of wanted to be Lorelai Gilmore in this shot from tonight's episode: rolling around on a cruiser with a basket of kitschy, yellow flora; wearing a cute-as-a-bug puffed-sleeve top; and chatting on the phone with a loved one. I even liked the earpiece. It gave the moment a geeky little twist.

You cute thing Ali! That was a nice little comment you left on my blog. I was just out to dinner with Jen tonight and she said the nicest things about you.

.....and you watch Gilmore Girls - you must be a kindred spirit...

Well then I am a complete nerd too because I want to be Lorelei Gilmore all of the time. And sometimes Rory too. We are a few episodes behind here. Is Lorelei back with Luke yet??

I would want to be either. Living in that cute small town and walking to my favorite diner every morning for breakfast. Being friends with everyone in town. Sounds perfect.

Um...I'm the nerdiest and most obsessed fan of the bunch because I wanted to name my daughter Lorelai (unfortunately my husband doesn't share my enthusiasm for the show and vetoed the name!) I also thought the puffed-sleeved shirt was adorable!

I used to love that show until they got new writers.I still like it but I never get to watch anymore. I just want to live in that town and have their cute house.

I want a cruiser, flowers, and cute new clothes too. And I'll take the earpiece for geeky effect.

I like the beach cruiser, flowers and puffy top but does anyone else get bugged that they talk way too fast on that show? It makes me feel dizzy.

Ali! I haven't watched the new 'Gilmore' yet, but I cannot wait. I know Lorilei and me would be good friends. I love her character sooo much. She's so funny. And, she loooves daisies.

Sarah: I think Lorelai and Luke are getting closer; they went shopping for a car together. However, I am not a regular watcher of this show, or any show except Lost, for that matter, so I'm not the best source!

Ashley: Yes, they do talk too fast. But the pair have a hard-to-beat vocab, that's for sure. And the clothing just keeps getting cuter. (Is it weird that I notice that so much on shows?)

But, ah, to live that Gilmore life. I think I would be great at running a little B&B in a quaint town. Who's coming with me?

Thanks for the heads up.
I do love this image of Lorelei on her bicycle, wind in her hair. But here in NZ it's the law to wear a helmet when riding a bike (and I would never go without it) but it kinda loses that breezy romantic feel you know?
