lart calendar

It's been fun to watch so many 2008 calendars emerge. I think this one by Lart Cognac Berliner for Little Otsu is the most unusual I've seen yet. I like that it can double as a map and poster, and also that it looks hand-colored: playful and useful, all in one. The back resembles a homemade botanical print---might be my favorite part.

So unique, I really love it, especially the back, those kind of loose, quirky illustrations really speak to me.

I love that idea! I am always looking for a real artistic-looking calendar but I always end up waiting too long and get stuck with a lame one on clearance. I will keep this in mind!
