photographer i love

I've been trying to find more photographers whose work I admire (as if there weren't enough), so I can get a better idea of what, exactly, I would like to accomplish in my own photographic adventures. I came across some images by Thirza Schaap in Cookie. Never over-posed and full of interaction, I think her photographs are wonderful and bright.

Here are just some from her editorial collection. You can see much more on her website.

"Kek" / Minoes (film)

"King For A Day" / Lula

"Garden Story" / Cookie

"Window" / Milk

"Smocks and Beads" / Elle Girl (UK)

"Italy" / Glamour

"Sur Le Chemin de Travers" / Milk

I love the "smocks and beads" (great outfit), and "Italy" (such a great photo for the reflections captured).
