sun + shade

Once the sun decides to stay out for good, you had better believe I'll be pulling on one of these glamorous beauties, along with my 75 spf. Sorry, Coco Chanel. Tans aren't for me. Neither is skin cancer.

Clockwise from top left:
setting sun hat
sun & shade hat
dune hat
stitched floppy hat

I'm a super pale girl. tans used to be my thing in Florida, but then I got a scary spot. since then it's shade or high SPF.

and these hats are darling. I'll be needing a fancy hat this summer!

I'm pretty pale but I do love being out in the sun. I would love one of these hats for strolling around in the park on a sunny day.

Amen, sista. If a big floppy hat is good enough for Gwyneth Paltrow, it's good enough for me. Love the bottom two.

I LOVE big sun hats! If I didn't already have 4, I'd buy one of these lovely ones here. Yes, I too gave up attempting to tan years ago.

I'm ridiculously pale and I loathe to tan at all. I've never gone down the hat route, but these are so gorgeous I might give one a whirl this summer! I like the bottom right a lot.

Ali, since you are petite like me (and since a small-ish head comes along with that), which fits you well? I need to be particularly careful this summer due to some facial issues but can't find a hat that works for my smaller head. Help! Email me please :) I'll buy you a cupcake at So Cupcake in exchange for your fabulous advice!
