Me too! I was in Payless the other day and I was attracted and repelled by these shoes at the same time. (No, I didn't get them. Instead I got three shoes from Urban Outfitters.)
I know exactly what you mean! I was in Payless yesterday, and I kept going back to look at them. I must have tried them on four times, but every time I looked in the mirror, I hated the way they looked. They sure looked tempting lying there in their little box, though. Strange.
I'm right there with ya, too. So cute, yet so ... uncute. The deciding factor could be this: since they're from Payless, might that mean they'll eventually make your feet stink? I've had to abandon several Payless pairs due to Shoe-induced Stinky Foot Problem.
