Stop No. 2: Bellagio, Italy

I liked Como because we had nothing to do but relax and take it in---nothing pressing to see or do (aaah). We picnicked lakeside, rode ferries, went on tree-lined walks, cruised the grounds of some fancy villa, and watched the lighting blaze through our skylight all night long. Luckily, it didn't rain in the daytime. My favorite part was the most amazing across-lake firework display I ever laid eyeballs on that lasted a whole hour.

(If you go to Bellagio, Hotel Centrale is a fab place to stay. It's as charming as can be and family-owned and operated.)

Love this part of Italy! We drove through it rather quickly, but was glad to get out of the car to walk to the water for a moment and get some gelato. Next time we'll have to take it easy like you guys did!

There is no place Like Italy. So simple. So Every day.
So focused on the Now. With Every Dopio Espresso, they stop time, to savor it before it gets away.
Sauntering Arm in Arm on the Piazzo. It's really how Life Should be.

Italy is Art Itself.
