breaking up is hard to do
C found this couch. C loves this couch. It has his name written all over it. However, our apartment doesn't love this couch as much as we do, and we haven't been able to locate adequate (read: affordable) storage until life takes us somewhere where we can spread out.
It's pretty much everything a MCM sofa should be, and it's in near-perfect shape with just a little sun damage on one of the arm rests. Naturally, I have a notion of what it's worth to me ... or Curtis. But does anyone have any pointers on how to fairly price this beauty?

i'll PAY for it. and somehow get it down here? maybe we could rent it from you for awhile......
I love that couch!
Oh dear, I can't help with the price, but it breaks my heart that you have to part with this!
Surely there is SOMEONE who can store that beauty for you! Years from now you will kick yourselves if you part with it! Send around a note/picture at church... SOMEONE can store it for you. Don't let it go.
what a classy sofa! such a shame to say goodbye.
DON'T DO IT! I am telling you, you will regret it! It is such a beauty with such great lines. Truly, I would encourage you to find a friend or family member to host it for awhile until you have room for it again. If you must part with it, I suggest you discuss selling it with an antiques consignment store where they will have an estimate of a fair price. Then, you could sell or not sell based on the discussion.
that sofa is just fantastic. I love it!
did you get rid of it? please say no. i will buy it from you! i will store it in my living room for you! i am desperate to get rid of my current sofa. but haven't wanted to commit to a new one, not knowing exactly how long i'll be living in dc. email me at anniemiller@gmail.com. let's talk!
