Maria of No Side Up turned my photo into an awesome illustration, called "Bridgett." I love it. And I love surprises that arrive on my doorstep, especially when they are cool and creative and come from Spain ... and incorporate Chanel.
Here's the play by play:
Muchas gracias, Maria! You are so talented. I am honored to reap the benefits.
"Bridgett" print here.
"IT" bag here.
And for the record, Bridgett braided her very own golden locks that day.

Seriously?! Um... wow! That illustration (and picture) is beautiful!
How awesome! I love your original photo and this drawing too. And the tote is pure temptation.
so cool! the chanel bag is also enviable!
and I wish I could braid my hair like that, but a french braid down the back is about as sophisticated as I get
Gorgeous braid and love the artistic take on it. The bag is gorgeous!
Whoa! Yes. That is great!
Wha? How, Who? I don't know how all this came together, exactly, but it all looks very enviable. Would Bridget like to do my hair? She looks like she is awfully talented (as are you, and Maria....)
Ooooh! Sooo cool!
So cool. That Bridgett has some mad braiding skills.
How great!

Great illustrations, so detailed and beautiful.
This is just beautiful and now I am truly inspired to braid my own (too short) hair!
