bringing brocade home

Just came home to a new Brocade Home catalog. I've heard that Brocade Home is backed by Restoration Hardware, but I haven't done the research to confirm that. Right now, I'm a little more interested in the goods themselves: pretty chandeliers, bedframes, rugs, storage units, and awesome Victorian-inspired seating. And more. I wouldn't do my entire place Brocade Home-style, it would get a little heavy and frilly for my taste. But the products make for tasteful feminine details and can give a new-build condo like mine some faux legacy.

Brocade Home doesn't have its inventory online, but you can order a catalog here.

Wow. Never heard of them before. But they have got some seriously cute accents to add some glam/charm/whimsy to any home.

I agree that it can be a bit much, dainty details, heavy crushed velvets, and fanciful brocades make you feel like you stepped into the home of a well-to-do socialite from a by gone era. Makes a great dessert but maybe not a full meal. More appetizing when mixed with organic forms, simple lines or even mod artifacts. The page with the plate collection as a wall art installation was actually my favorite. Not my favorite pieces in the catalog per say but it was interesting and palatable at least. Fun finds- just not all together though.
