this is halloween

Things I would like to accomplish on one of my most favorite holidays:

Put on my zombie face.
Bake something with pumpkin in it.
Eat a pumpkin empanada at Taco Time.
Carve a jack-o-lantern.
Make savory pumpkin seeds.
Listen to my Spooky Mix.
Scare someone.
Scare myself (run through a graveyard at dusk, venture into some old attic)
Watch any scary movie.
Enjoy some apple cider.
Waltz through a corn field at dusk.
Take graveside photos at a really old and creepy cemetery.
Read a scary story.

Happy Halloween!

I had a pumpkin empanada last week and it was everything I'd remembered it to be. Sooo tasty!

I have never had a pumpkin empanada but now I want one really, really bad and I'm pretty sure there's not a Taco Time within five states.

I love that cemetery pic. Spooky old cemeteries remind me of you!

Can't wait to see your Zombie face for this year. Happy Halloween!

Ali,
one of the coolest graveyards I've seen is the Jewish cemetary in Prague. If you haven't seen it, you should.
Basically, the Jews were given a little plot of land on which to bury their dead. So when the land was filled up they'd just bring in another layer of dirt, bring the headstones to the top, and bury another layer. I think there are now 12 layers.
And all the headstones laying helter skelter. It's amazing.
