last night

Last night, whilst I worked on a little writing assignment, I tuned into a wonderful mix from Jo and sipped on cheap hot cho with supersoft, pink+white, funny heart-shaped mallows. Three of these sugary lovelies dissolved into my bevy before the last bit was swallowed. It was a very nice moment.

My compliments to Jo, for brewing a fab musical blend (Band of Horses, Stars, Taken By Trees, She & Him, The Whitest Boy Alive, etc.), and a gorgeously-illustrated cd jacket to match. I treasure both. I think I know how it feels to be both lost and found, too.

My compliments to Uncle Beefy, for figuring out where in the world to get said supersoft, pink+white, funny heart-shaped marshmallows. Who'd have thought they would be at Rite Aid rather than on the shelves of my local grocer?

ah, that sounds so nice! I want some new tunes, and cup of hot chocolate, and cute marshmallows to go in it.

those marshmallows are swell. i hate to admit this but my coolest christmas finds this year were on the shelves of the drugstore...pom, pom garland, ribbon candy...all the good stuff.

ps -- i just gave you a little "made my day" award. see: http://simplelovely.blogspot.com/2008/01/appreciation.html

Your cheap-o hot chocolate looks rather the opposite...Expensive and divine!

I thought I was the only fan of The Whitest Boy Alive. (And here I thought I was all cool and indie.)

I need those marshmallows in my life.
