shades of grey
The more I think about it, the more I realize that heather grey (the kind immortalized by every gym class since 1960---even rebel Danny Zuko wore sweats) is nearly as classic as denim. I want to wear it every day, and it seems to go with everything.
Don't be afraid to pick up a little boy's crewneck at Target. I might have.

You know it's funny, I just bought a grey sweater like one of these at target the other day, and even though its rather plain it's my favorite 'round the house' top. Despite it's lazy look, I feel pretty wearing it.
Oh my gosh, so funny that you should say that, there is a cashmere sweatshirt in grey heather at JCrew that is saying to me: "You know you will wear me until I am in threads, you know your children will hear about me...so why haven't you bought me yet?"
Ali-Yes, I believe we would have been!
Too bad Boise didn't work out, maybe the boys could have played.
Hope Richmond is treating you well!
i have a heather gray cardigan that i love! its such a classic shade!
Heather grey is my go-to: jeans, heather grey round-neck tee and boat shoes. Its my weekend uniform and, gosh, I love it. Even better with a white stripe or two thrown in!
I'm so glad you're back.
Love all of these, the three on the top row especially!!
everything i've purchased lately has been...grey. loving it.
i bought a grey sweatshirt for 2.50 last week and just cut the neck out of it yesterday! i want to get another one to keep the neck with and play with the sleeves. such a great staple!
